Reporting to a Director, you will be responsible for managing the payroll function, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of client payrolls while supporting both clients and colleagues.This is a permanent position available on either a full-time or part-time basis, with negotiable working hours.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting the management of the payroll department, which consists of one Payroll Support WorkerProcess end-to-end payrolls for a range of clients using Sage PayrollEnsure compliance with payroll legislation including RTI, SSP, SMP, SPP and Auto EnrolmentAdminister CIS payroll requirementsLiaise professionally with clients and internal managersSupport and supervise the Payroll Support WorkerMaintain accurate payroll records and ensure deadlines are consistently metAssist with payroll queries and provide excellent customer serviceWhat Were Looking ForMinimum of 3 years' payroll experienceWorking knowledge of processing a variety of end-to-end payrolls using Sage PayrollKnowledge of CISWorking knowledge of RTI, SSP, SMP, SPP and Automatic EnrolmentAbility to deal with external clients and internal managersExcellent attention to detail and communication skillsAble to work on own initiative and as part of a teamGeneral management skillsWhats In It For You£25,000 - £30,000 FTE, dependent upon experienceNegotiable working hoursHybrid working available4 weeks' annual leave plus statutory holidaysOvertime paid at the normal hourly rateHealth Scheme after probationPension after probationOpportunity to progress to Practice ManagerWhats next?
