This is an exciting opportunity to join a business investing in advanced automation, modern engineering practices and greener technologies.The RoleAs an Electrically Biased Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in keeping a highly automated production facility running at peak performance. You will be trusted to take ownership of electrical fault finding, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help drive reliability across the plant.This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and enjoys solving complex technical problems.Key TasksDiagnosing and resolving electrical faults on automated machinerySupporting PLC fault-finding and control systemsCarrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)Assisting with mechanical maintenance when requiredReading and interpreting technical drawingsDriving improvements to reduce downtime and increase efficiencyWorking collaboratively with production and engineering teamsWhat We Are Looking ForNVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)Completed engineering apprenticeshipStrong electrical fault-finding experience in manufacturingExperience with automated production equipmentA proactive, solution-focused mindsetTeam player with the ability to work independently(PLC knowledge and experience with hydraulics/pneumatics are a bonus)Why Join This Business?This isn't just another maintenance role; this is your chance to join a company that genuinely invests in its people and technology.
