This role is responsible for managing the integration of a portfolio of lateral and internally promoted partners, ensuring each partner has the resources, guidance, and support needed to become a fully engaged and productive member of the partnership as quickly and effectively as possible. The Manager will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the firm, building strong relationships with colleagues at all levels and across business services teams involved in partner integration. By leveraging these relationships, the Manager will help ensure that resources are deployed efficiently and effectively to support each partners successful transition and long-term success. This role will be based in our London office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.Responsibilities & Qualifications Other key responsibilities include:Providing individualised one-on-one support for each partner in the Managers portfolio to help foster their success at the firm, including by connecting them with available resources and services to facilitate their successful integration into the partnershipCoordinating with members of the Partner Recruiting team to ensure that the recruitment process for each prospective lateral partner is informed by integration considerations, and that the integration strategy for each lateral partner is informed by information gathered during the recruitment processCollaborating with the relevant individuals to understand incoming lateral partners objectives, priorities, practice, industry focus, client base, and other considerations that will inform each partners long-term integration plan and participation in the firms Platform Integration Program; in collaboration with the Director and the other Partner Integration Managers, continuously evolving the integration process through discussions, feedback, and identifying and replicating best practicesDeveloping and executing a tailored integration strategy for each assigned partner, taking into account each partners practice, region, industry focus, and client base, and ensuring the strategy focuses on supporting each partners integration into the firms platform and into all aspects of Lathams culture and communityEnsuring the strategy and efforts to support the integration of each partner remain on track and that new opportunities for further integration into the Latham platform are identified and realisedRequired profile Wed love to hear from you if you:Display the ability to develop extensive knowledge of the firms practices and global platformPossess the ability to develop extensive knowledge of the firms personnel, procedures, policies, and processesDemonstrate superior interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and trust with lawyers and staff at all organisational levelsAnd have:A bachelors degree or equivalentProgressively responsible experience in legal or other professional services environmentWhat we offer Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
