If you aspire to be the best, and work with the best, this is where you belong.Job description The Business Development Assistant BD CORE is an integral part of Lathams Business Development team and will be responsible for collaborating with various teams within the department to execute tasks that are integral to the success of the firms Business Development objectives, while providing a high level of customer service to internal and external clients. This role will be located in our London office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.Responsibilities & Qualifications Other key responsibilities include:Proactively keeping abreast of firm resources, contacts, and subject matter experts to provide alternative solutions when a request cannot be fulfilled via the designated Business Development CORE team or can be fulfilled more efficiently through an alternative resourceEntering all assigned service requests into the ServiceNow ticketing system and monitoring tickets from open to close status, ensuring all service level agreements are metLearning Latham-specific tools and applications as necessary to perform certain research or other related job dutiesSupporting the global Business Development department with a suite of core services, including biography edits, client and competitor research and analysis, utilizing Pitchbook, and other publicly available resources, conducting research for client seminars and client events, providing marketing collateral support including updates to client presentations, pitch documents, directory submissions, and newsletters, executing CRM research, updates, and data entry, updating and producing expense and invoice reports, and document conversion and formatting (Word and PPT)Assisting with special projects when necessaryRequired profile Wed love to hear from you if you:Possess well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; including the ability to interact effectively with people at all organisational levels of the firmDisplay excellent communication skills, both written and oralDemonstrate the ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focusAnd have:A high school diploma or an equivalentA bachelors degree or an equivalent in a related field, preferablyProfessional services or law firm experience, preferablyWhat we offer Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
