The successful candidates will play a key role in delivering accurate site engineering services across a range of piling and ground engineering projects.Setting Out Engineer Hours and BenefitsSalary to be discussed at the application stage41.5 hours per weekCompany vanCompany sick payBupa Dental InsuranceHealthcareChristmas shutdown.Life assurance, 4x annual salaryCommutable From: Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Burton Trent, Birmingham, Coventry, TamworthSetting Out Engineer Candidate RequirementsThe Setting Out Engineer will have proven experience in setting out for piling or groundworks.Proficient with Leica iCon surveying equipment (advantageous) (e.g., GPS, Total Station).Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.CSCS card and relevant site certifications.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Basic knowledge of Autocad.Previous knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Flexibility with travel as this role covers the UK.Driving Licence.Setting Out Engineer Key ResponsibilitiesSetting out for piling works including CFA, driven piles, Precast Foundations.Interpreting technical drawings and specifications.Ensuring accurate positioning and alignment of piles and foundations.Maintaining site records and quality assurance documentation.Conducting site surveys and producing as-built drawings.Ensuring health and safety compliance on site.TPBN1_UKTJ
