An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a fast-paced and growing organisation. This role sits within a busy payroll team and offers the chance to contribute to accurate and efficient payroll operations while supporting ongoing business growth.About the RoleWorking closely with senior payroll colleagues, you will support the day-to-day delivery of payroll services, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. This is a varied position suited to a detail-oriented payroll professional who thrives in a dynamic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess payroll activities, including statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, Tax, NI)Support annual audit requirements and checksAssist with HMRC processes, including PSA agreements and P11Ds (desirable)Administer salary sacrifice schemesMaintain accurate data entry and payroll recordsEnsure compliance with GDPR and confidentiality policiesWork to strict deadlines and payroll schedulesCollaborate effectively within the team while managing individual workloadProvide flexible support across general office duties when requiredPerson SpecificationPrevious experience in a payroll administration role within a team environmentStrong understanding of payroll processes and data handlingProficient in IT systems, including advanced Excel skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication skills, with the ability to liaise across all levelsAbility to meet deadlines in a fast-paced settingSound understanding of confidentiality and data protection (GDPR)Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise workload independentlyFlexible and adaptable approach to workExperience with Zellis ResourceLink payroll software and UKG workforce management systems would be advantageous.Whats on OfferCompetitive salaryPension schemeEmployee benefits package, including discounts and recognition schemesCycle to work schemeAdditional InformationPermanent, full-time positionMonday to Friday, 08:45am 17:30pmBased in Plymouth, DevonIf you are currently seeking a new challenge and feel you would be a good fit, then please submit an up to date CV by using the apply button below.
