Class 1 Driver

Job Title: Class 1 (Category C+E) DriverKey ResponsibilitiesSafely operate Class 1 (Category C+E) articulated vehicles.Complete deliveries and collections in accordance with planned schedules.Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects promptly.Ensure all loads are secured correctly and transported safely.Complete all delivery documentation accurately, including digital records where required.Comply with DVSA regulations, Drivers' Hours Rules, Working Time Directive, and company policies.Maintain accurate tachograph records and ensure legal compliance at all times.Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding journey progress, delays, or incidents.Keep assigned vehicles clean, roadworthy, and presentable.Essential Requirements Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence.Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).Valid Digital Tachograph Card.Good knowledge of UK road transport legislation and drivers' hours regulations.Strong commitment to health and safety.Excellent time management and organisational skills.Good communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional nights away where required.TPBN1_UKTJ
