Theyrelooking for an experienced Electrician to join theirGateway Repairs Team and help us deliver a high-quality repairs and maintenance service to our residentRolepurposeTo deliver high-quality electrical installation, repair and maintenance services that ensure safe, compliantand well-maintained homes for theirresidents.Whatstherole?Key Accountabilities:Carry out electrical installation,repairand maintenance work within occupied and void properties, including inspection and testing EICRsDeliver works from a pre-allocated appointment system, ensuring efficiency andhigh standardsCompleteaccuratereports using both paperwork and handheld devicesWork closely with the Team Leader, escalating issues or concerns whenrequiredEnsure all work is compliant with current health & safety regulationsWhataretheylookingfor?Essential:Experience working in a similar electrical role within repairs and maintenanceStrong understanding of health & safety regulationsExcellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate empatheticallyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood organisational and reporting skills (including use of handheld devices)Full, clean UK driving licenceWillingness tomaintaina satisfactory basic DBS checkQualifications:18th Edition (orworking towards 18th)NVQ Level 3 (2356 / 2357)2360 / 2330 / 2365 or Part 1 & 22391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & TestingDesirable:AM2 qualificationExperience within the housing sectorKnowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel)Who youllworkwithResponsible to:Gateway Repairs Team Leader (Electrical)Department:Repairs and MaintenanceWhatcantheyofferyou?28 days annual leave (pro rata)Employer pension contribution of up to 11%Development opportunitiesComprehensive employee rewards schemeHowtheyworkThey embrace agile working blending time in theircommunities, shared spaces, and remote working.
