Freight Forwarder

Laser Transport International, part of the Currie Solutions Group, is looking for a Freight Forwarder to join our busy Overseas department in Hythe.The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the freight forwarding industry, with knowledge of Ocean Freight and/or Air Freight operations. You will have good computer skills and be able to communicate professionally with customers, both verbally and in writing, while working as part of a busy and supportive team.Due to the location of our office, your own transport is required .Key Responsibilities Responding to customer enquiries.Booking shipments with shipping lines, co-loaders and airlines.Processing shipments from customer quotation through to arranging transport, completing the associated documentation and final invoicing.Working accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced office environment.The successful candidate will be organised, customer-focused and able to work swiftly and accurately to meet deadlines.Following completion of your training period, your core working hours will be Monday to Friday, 09:00 17:00 , with a one-hour lunch break .Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience.TPBN1_UKTJ
