Urgent Contract Opportunity Senior Finance Data Business Analyst (Model Risk)Location: UK Hybrid (Typically 12 days per week on-site in London)Contract: Initial contract until December 2026 with strong extension potentialRate: Competitive Day Rate | Inside IR35We're supporting a Tier 1 UK bank on a major Model Risk transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Data Business Analyst to join a long-term regulatory change initiative.This role will focus on improving the transparency, traceability and governance of data used within Finance and Risk models. You'll be working across Model Risk, Finance and Data teams to analyse complex documentation, map data lineage and help strengthen model governance.Key responsibilities:Analyse and interpret model documentation and data flows.Document model inputs, data lineage and data definitions.Identify gaps in data ownership, governance and controls.Engage senior stakeholders to gather and validate information.Produce high-quality data dictionaries, lineage documentation and process maps.Support improvements to model governance and regulatory compliance.Work independently to investigate and solve complex data challenges.Essential experience:Previous Business Analyst experience within a Tier 1 banking environment.Strong background in data analysis, data lineage, data mapping and data documentation.Experience working with Finance and/or Risk models.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to work in ambiguous environments and independently drive analysis.Desirable:Experience within Model Risk Management.Knowledge of SS1/23 or similar regulatory frameworks.Treasury experience.This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile, multi-year transformation programme with significant long-term potential.TPBN1_UKTJ
