Birmingham | Hybrid Working (2 days office / 3 days WFH)£35,000-£40,000 + BenefitsThe RoleAs Client Accountant, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the administration of CIS processes while delivering an exceptional service to clients.Key responsibilities include:Managing a portfolio of client accounts and overseeing day-to-day financial transactionsPerforming reconciliations and ensuring accurate management of client fundsProcessing payment runs in line with contractual requirements and deadlinesAdministering CIS processes, ensuring compliance and accuracyAllocating cash receipts and resolving account queriesPreparing monthly client accounts and financial reportsBuilding strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholdersSupporting ad hoc finance projects and wider team initiativesAbout YouWe're looking for an organised and proactive finance professional who is confident managing client accounts and has a strong understanding of CIS.To be considered, you'll have:Previous experience as a Client Accountant, Property Accountant or in a similar finance role within the real estate sectorEssential: Previous experience working with the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)Experience managing client portfolios and maintaining strong stakeholder relationshipsA solid understanding of reconciliations, financial reporting and financial controlsPart-qualified (AAT, ACCA or CIMA) or qualified by experienceStrong communication skills with excellent attention to detailGood working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suiteWhat's on OfferSalary of £35,000-£40,000Hybrid working (2 days in the Birmingham office, 3 days from home)Supportive and collaborative team environmentOpportunity to join a well-established and respected organisationOngoing career development and progression opportunitiesPlease note: Due to the requirements of this position, previous CIS experience is essential .
