Join a well-established Housing Association in a rewarding Management Accountant Revenue role, where you'll play a key part in supporting the financial performance of essential frontline services. This short term contract opportunity offers the chance to partner with Property Care, Neighbourhood Management, Customer Experience and Corporate Support teams, providing financial insight that helps drive informed decision-making and excellent service delivery.You'll act as the Finance Lead for your business areas, taking ownership of management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting, while building strong relationships with operational managers and supporting the development of a Finance Officer. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant looking to take the next step in a varied and commercially focused finance role.We'd love to hear from anyone with a background as a Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner, Assistant Finance Manager, Finance Manager or Financial Accountant, particularly if you've worked within social housing, the public sector or another regulated environment.As a Management Accountant, you will be:Producing monthly management accounts, providing detailed analysis and financial commentaryPartnering with operational managers to support budgeting, forecasting and financial performanceLeading on annual budget preparation alongside the Financial Reporting ManagerPreparing supporting information for statutory accounts and year-end processesReconciling control accounts and ensuring financial records remain accurateDeveloping financial reports to improve the quality and timeliness of management informationManaging and mentoring the Finance Officer ReportingSupporting continuous improvement across finance processes and reportingI'd love to speak to anyone who has:Experience producing monthly management accounts and detailed financial analysisStrong business partnering experience, supporting operational teams and budget holdersPrevious leadership or line management experienceKnowledge of group structures and inter-company accountingExcellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skillsExperience within social housing or another regulated environment would be advantageousKey requirements for this Management Accountant role:Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or actively studying towards a professional accountancy qualificationKnowledge of financial reporting standards and statutory accounting requirementsStrong Microsoft Excel and financial systems experienceThe ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict reporting deadlinesThe role is offering the following benefits:Remote working upon successful completion of trainingA supportive and collaborative finance teamThe opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across the businessThis role is offering an assignment rate of £29.98.Travel & LocationThis role is based in Gloucestershire, with remote working available.
