We're ambitious for our children and young people, families and staff, and believe in their futures.Overall Purpose and AimPolaris Community is looking for an Internal Recruiter to join our education recruitment team. In this role you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing and attracting the very best talent for our schools whilst leading and managing the end-to-end recruitment process. You will provide expert advice on all recruitment activity and work closely with our education senior leadership team to design and implement effective recruitment practices and strategies and ensure that all regulatory and company requirements are met. This is a hybrid working role and you will be based at our Milton Keynes office.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for ensuring all vacancies are successfully resourced with an emphasis on quality of hire, time to hire and on direct recruitment activityActively identify, source and attract candidates for hard-to-fill vacanciesImplement targeted recruitment strategies to increase application numbers where needed and identify the most effective channel of attractionSupport organic growth by proactively sourcing candidates to support the opening of new schoolsResponsibility for implementing the recruitment strategy as created and agreed with the Chief People Officer and HR Business PartnerSupport recruitment activities, e.g. identifying and attending job fairs/career events, liaising with colleges and universitiesBuild strong and effective relationships with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and provide guidance on recruitment best practiceEnsure appropriate and timely communication to candidates and hiring managers at all stages of the recruitment processWork with recruitment agencies with the aim of establishing a preferred supplier list with favourable rates that can be utilised when requiredHaving a solution-focused approach, suggesting creative solutions to any recruitment challenges, where appropriateScreen applications and facilitate early conversations to identify top candidatesCoordinate and schedule interviews between hiring managers and candidatesFocusing on delivering an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through to onboarding, positioning Polaris Community as an employer of choice, positively promoting the employer brand at all timesReview and update recruitment policies as requiredHelp to drive organisational performance by supporting core business objectivesMaintain strict confidentiality in the work undertakenEnsure recruitment processes and files sent to onboarding meet safer recruitment requirementsKeep up to date with information regarding developments in recruitment practice, employment legislation, CIPD guidance and CPD, sharing knowledge within the teamSkills, Knowledge and AbilitiesExcellent knowledge and experience of recruitment practices and processesKnowledge of the recruitment marketplace, including skills, cost, supply and demandAbility to produce data on key recruitment metricsKnowledge of recruitment best practice and associated employment lawA commercial understanding of the impact of recruitmentExcellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple, varied recruitment campaigns and work to tight deadlinesAbility to build effective relationships with both candidates and hiring managersExperiencePrevious resourcing/recruitment experience within a fast-paced environmentExperience of utilising a variety of sourcing methods, plans and toolsDemonstrable experience of actively sourcing and headhunting both passive and active candidates for a variety of vacancies and skill setsExperience of influencing and negotiatingExperience of interviewing prospective candidatesExperience of working in an in-house/internal recruitment team desirable, but not essentialBenefits30 days' annual leave, increasing to 35 days with length of serviceBank HolidaysCompany PensionLife AssuranceEmployee Discount SchemeThe successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check for this position.Polaris Community is an equal opportunities employer and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates.TPBN1_UKTJ
