Fabricator Welder

We are looking for a talented Metal Fabricator/Welder/Fitter to join our expanding team based in our workshop at Nottingham and on customer sites in the UK. We require a highly skilled, self-motivated individual that possesses a high level of quality & ownership skills. The successful candidate must be competent with the use of all metal working machinery along with an excellent eye for detail.Role & ResponsibilitiesMain purpose :Responsible for building high quality metal componentsResponsibilitiesYour role may include but not limited to:Building high quality metal componentsReading & interpreting engineering drawingsReacting to customer breakdowns in-house and onsiteMeasuring, marking cutting & bendingSet up metal work machinery including presses, cutters, brakes, shears & rollersGrinding & finishing to a high specificationCarrying out all QA checks prior to despatchWorking within Company H&S proceduresAny ad-hoc responsibilitiesEssentialFlexibilityAble to work as part of a teamDemonstrate an excellent H&S ethic and have knowledge & experience of conforming to Safety RegulationsDemonstrate high level of detailDesirableQualifications in manual handlingQualification in Mechanical EngineeringAdvanced welding qualificationsAdvanced knowledge of engineering & manufacturing proceduresBenefits:Salary Sacrifice SchemesCompany eventsCompany pension & Life AssuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayOvertime availableExperience:FabricatingWeldingFittingTPBN1_UKTJ
