Temporary BookkeeperLocation: Loughborough (5 Days On-Site) Rate: £17.00 per hour Contract: TemporaryHamilton Woods Associates are currently working with a well-established business in Loughborough to recruit a Temporary Bookkeeper on an immediate start basis.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking for a varied, hands-on role supporting all aspects of the finance function.The RoleReporting to the Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day bookkeeping activities, ensuring accurate financial records are maintained while supporting credit control, accounts administration and month-end processes.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging the sales and purchase ledgersProcessing supplier invoices and preparing payment runsRaising sales invoices and allocating customer receiptsPerforming daily and monthly bank reconciliationsChasing outstanding customer payments via telephone and emailManaging the credit control process and reducing aged debtProducing aged debtor reports and escalating overdue accounts where requiredResolving customer and supplier account queriesAssisting with VAT returns and maintaining accurate financial recordsSupporting month-end close, journals and balance sheet reconciliationsMaintaining the integrity of financial data within the accounting systemProviding general finance and administrative support to the wider teamAbout YouPrevious experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant or Finance AssistantStrong understanding of sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit controlExperience carrying out bank reconciliations and supporting month-end processesExcellent attention to detail with strong organisational skillsConfident using Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Sage, Xero or QuickBooksAble to manage a varied workload and work independentlyAvailable to start immediately or at short noticeWhat's on Offer£17.00 per hourImmediate startTemporary contractFull-time, 5 days per week on-site in LoughboroughVaried, all-round finance role within a supportive teamTo apply, please submit your CV or contact Joe Gorman at Hamilton Woods Associates for a confidential discussion.TPBN1_UKTJ
