Aspen Court Nursing and Dementia Care Home is a modern, purpose built care home located on the peaceful northern outskirts of Taunton, Somerset. The home provides specialist Nursing, Dementia and Complex Care for up to 42 residents in a safe and supportive environment focused on dignity, wellbeing and person centred care.Activities Coordinator Contract £12.71 per hour37.5 hours per weekShift times: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (30 minute unpaid break)Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)Role OverviewAs an Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs.You will plan and deliver engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction. Activities will be tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs, including those who may require a more structured or sensitive approach to engagement.Building positive relationships is essential, helping you understand individual preferences, behaviours and communication styles to support inclusive participation.
