Renowned for delivering high-quality facilities maintenance solutions, this company offers ongoing training, including HV training, alongside genuine opportunities for long-term career progression.This role is ideal for an experienced electrical maintenance engineer looking to step into or further develop within a leadership position. As the Lead Engineer, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of a busy commercial building, leading a small on-site engineering team while acting as the main point of contact for the client.Working a continental day shift pattern, you will be responsible for ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance is completed efficiently, maintaining compliance across the site, and driving high standards of service delivery.Day Shift Leader Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systemsPerform electrical fault-finding and diagnosticsWork on single and three-phase power systemsCarry out emergency lighting tests and maintenanceMonitor and operate BMS systemsMaintain AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and motorsOversee generators, UPS systems, and critical plant equipmentAssist with VAV and VRF systemsEnsure water treatment checks and compliance tasks are completedSupervise subcontractors and ensure all works are carried out safely and to standardMaintain accurate site logbooks and reportsBuild and maintain strong working relationships with the client and occupantsSupport and oversee on-site engineers to ensure smooth building operationDay Shift Leader Requirements City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical InstallationsElectrically biased with strong commercial building maintenance experiencePrevious experience in a lead or supervisory role preferredStrong understanding of critical building services plantExcellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilitiesGood client-facing and communication skillsApprenticeship trained (desirable)Day Shift Leader Salary & Benefits £55,000 – £58,000 per annumContinental day shift patternHV training provided22 days annual leaveCompany pension schemeOvertime opportunities availableGenuine opportunities for internal progressionOngoing training and development supportPosted by Luke ClarkTPBN1_UKTJ
