Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured projects valued up to £10m, they are now looking to appoint a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.The RoleWe are seeking an ambitious Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team within a growing main contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop their career within construction and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of projects.The successful candidate will work closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors and operational teams, supporting the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account while receiving ongoing training and career development.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the commercial management of construction projects from pre-construction through to final accountSupport the preparation of subcontractor enquiry packages and procurement activitiesAssist with subcontractor valuations, variations, payments, and final accountsHelp prepare cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projectionsMonitor project costs and support the identification of commercial risks and opportunitiesAssist with the preparation of valuations and commercial reportingWork closely with site and operational teams to support project deliveryMaintain accurate commercial records and project documentationAttend site visits and progress meetings where requiredSupport the wider commercial team with day-to-day project activitiesRequirementsDegree qualified or working towards a degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial ManagementStrong interest in pursuing a career within the construction industryExcellent communication and organisational skillsGood numerical and analytical abilitiesAbility to work effectively within a team environmentStrong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and WordMotivated, eager to learn, and capable of working on own initiativeFull UK driving licence preferredDesirable:Previous placement or work experience within construction or Quantity SurveyingKnowledge of construction processes and contractsExperience working within a contractor environmentWhy Apply?Excellent opportunity to join a growing and well-established main contractorExposure to a wide variety of construction projects up to £10m in valueOngoing training, mentorship, and career development opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative working environmentClear progression within the commercial teamCompetitive salary and benefits packageApplyIf you're interested in this opportunity, then please get in touch today by applying to the role.We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities.
