Engineering Manager (Food Manufacturing)North LanarkshireUp to £65,000 + BenefitsOur client is a successful and growing food manufacturing business seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function at one of their key production facilities.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering leader to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment where reliability, continuous improvement and people development are key priorities.The RoleWorking a 4 on 4 off days shift pattern (6:30am 7:00pm), you will lead a team of seven engineers, ensuring the site operates safely and efficiently whilst delivering maximum equipment uptime.Key responsibilities include:Leading, coaching and developing a team of engineersManaging planned and reactive maintenance activitiesDriving engineering performance through effective use of the CMMS systemManaging contractors and engineering service providersSupporting the implementation of Red Zone methodologyDelivering continuous improvement and reliability initiativesWorking closely with production teams to minimise downtimeEnsuring compliance with all engineering and health & safety requirementsThe site operates a range of automated production equipment, including depositors, multihead weighers and packaging machinery.The PersonWe are keen to speak with Engineering Managers, Engineering Supervisors or Team Leaders from food manufacturing, FMCG or other fast-paced production environments.You will possess:Proven experience leading and developing engineering teamsStrong coaching, training and people management skillsExperience managing contractorsGood working knowledge of CMMS systemsExperience maintaining automated production equipmentStrong preventative maintenance and continuous improvement expertiseExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsPackageSalary up to £65,000Benefits Package4 on 4 off Days (6:30am 7:00pm)Excellent career development opportunitiesThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful manufacturer and play a key role in driving engineering performance, team development and operational excellence.TPBN1_UKTJ
