This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer with a passion for fault finding, continuous improvement and keeping production running efficiently.The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical and mechanical engineering background , with experience supporting automated production environments and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex faults.What's on Offer? £45,000 - £55,000 salary depending on experienceOpportunity to work within a leading food & drink manufacturing environmentStable and secure position within an established businessOngoing training and development opportunitiesCareer progression opportunitiesWorking alongside an experienced engineering teamThe Role As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer , you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability and performance of production equipment across the site.Your responsibilities will include:Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenanceDiagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faultsSupporting production teams to minimise downtimeFault finding on automated machinery and production equipmentWorking with PLC-controlled systems and assisting with troubleshootingCompleting equipment improvements and reliability projectsIdentifying opportunities to improve machine performance and efficiencyMaintaining accurate maintenance records and documentationEnsuring all work is completed safely and to the highest standardsWhat We're Looking For Essential Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance EngineerStrong electrical and mechanical engineering knowledgeExperience working within a food, drink, FMCG or manufacturing environmentExcellent fault-finding and problem-solving skillsAbility to work proactively and independentlyStrong understanding of preventative maintenance principlesDesirable PLC knowledge and experience fault finding on automated systemsExperience with Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar PLC systemsKnowledge of robotics, automation or control systemsExperience working with high-speed production and packaging machineryElectrical qualifications (18th Edition / equivalent) would be advantageousApply Today If you're a technically strong Multi-Skilled Engineer looking to join a successful food and drink manufacturing business where your skills and experience are valued, we'd love to hear from you.Please ensure your CV clearly demonstrates your relevant maintenance engineering experience, electrical and mechanical skills, PLC knowledge and background within food, drink, FMCG or manufacturing environments before applying.
