Engineering SupervisorLocation: North WalesContract: Full-time, PermanentAbout the RoleZETEC Recruitment are supporting an established manufacturing business with the appointment of an Engineering Supervisor.This role would suit a hands-on engineer who is ready to take on more responsibility within a maintenance and engineering team. The successful candidate will help coordinate day-to-day engineering work, support planned and reactive maintenance, and contribute to the improvement of maintenance processes across the site.The position will involve working with internal teams and external contractors to keep equipment running effectively, support safe working practices and help improve the way maintenance activity is planned, recorded and delivered.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily engineering and maintenance activitySupport the planning of maintenance workAssist with the implementation and improvement of maintenance systems, including CMMSHelp maintain accurate records, schedules and work ordersSupport planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activityAssist with fault finding, repairs and corrective workProvide hands-on engineering support across site equipmentHelp improve maintenance processes and working practicesSupport risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of workWork with production teams, managers and contractorsAssist with small projects, inspections and improvement tasksIdentify ways to improve equipment performance, reliability and reduce downtimeThe Ideal CandidateExperience in an engineering, maintenance or manufacturing environmentPrevious supervisory, team leader or coordination experience would be beneficialExperience using, supporting or helping implement a CMMS or similar maintenance system would be advantageousHNC, HND or equivalent engineering qualification would be advantageousPractical engineering knowledgeGood planning and organisational skillsConfident communicator with a hands-on approachGood attention to detailSafety-conscious and proactiveAble to work well with different teams across a manufacturing environmentWillingness to learn, develop and take ownership of maintenance improvementsThe OpportunityThis is a great opportunity for an Engineering Supervisor to join an established manufacturing business in a varied, hands-on role with excellent development opportunities.To apply, please contact ZETEC Recruitment.TPBN1_UKTJ
