Job Description
Kuehne + Nagel provides a production support service package and through life support for Leonardo Helicopters that consists of all standard logistics activities such as goods receipt, quality inspection, storage and picking & packing. In addition, centres co-located with the end user ensure store to fitment serviceWe are looking for a Multitask operative with Warehouse experience and good IT skills.Mon to Fri - shifts:6.30am to 3pm and 1.30pm to 10pmHow you create impact Act as the focal point for End User demandsProcessing all demands within timely mannerProvide appropriate notifications to higher authority associated with loss of capability such as Aircraft On Ground (AOG) notificationsInform End User of forecast delivery dates (FDD) of materiel not immediately available from the onsite inventoryUpdate LogIS and customer systems with FDDs for non-available demands.Notify End Users of supply solution for their respective demandsSeek supply information for non-available demands where the forecast delivery date is due or has expiredNotify End User of supply status of outstanding demands.Seek alternative solutions through the End User for demands that have supply solutions beyond the End-Users required delivery dateReceipt, issue and dispatch materiel to and from the UK Apache AH-64E Warehouse using Authority Log ISOperate MHE they are trained to useReposition material for the customer around locations as requiredContributing to continuous improvement and QSHE activitiesWhat we would like you to bring Must be totally flexible and willing to learn.Have an understanding of the need for attention to detail, with a right first time approach.Can demonstrate good communication skills.Experience of operating MJDI/SAP, is very desirable but not essential.Shall have confidence within a busy & diverse working environment and have the ability to prioritise work on a day-to-day basis.Must be computer literate and will have been trained in the use of MS Office Suite.Full driving license essential and be prepared to operate MHE (including FLT).Must be willing to undergo Security Check Clearance.Good housekeeping skillsWhat's in it for you As well as our competitive pay rates and superb training opportunities, we also offer a great working environment.You will be respected and valued if you work for us and have genuine opportunities to progress and develop.26 days holidays plus bank holidays2 volunteering days per year3 x Life Assurance Option if you join the KN Route2 pension schemeA tailored personal development and training programme.Trusted and empowered to deliver and be your best.We are happy to talk about flexible working.
