Maintenance Officer

Location: RedditchContract: Temporary (6 Months)Pay Rate: £20.00 - £23.00 per hour PAYEHours: Full TimeWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Officer to join a busy property and maintenance team based in Redditch.This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable maintenance professional with a strong background in building services, property maintenance, and compliance to support the delivery of maintenance and repair services across a diverse property portfolio.Key Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and minor works projects.Monitor contractor performance to ensure works are completed to required standards, within budget, and on schedule.Carry out property inspections and condition surveys.Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures.Assist with the management of maintenance programmes and asset-related works.Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation using internal IT systems.Liaise with contractors, tenants, stakeholders, and internal departments to resolve maintenance issues effectively.Support the delivery of high-quality property maintenance services.Requirements HNC/HND in Building Services, ORA minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in a property maintenance, building services, or estates environment.Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements .Strong IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office and property management systems.Essential RequirementsFull UK Driving LicenceBasic DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one)TPBN1_UKTJ
