Homecare Assistant

Prestige Nursing & Care East Lancashire are seeking Professional Home Care workers to join our growing team.Join us if you are passionate about making a difference by supporting and caring for individuals within their own homes and care settings.Having secured a significant amount of new work opportunities, we need compassionate, committed, caring staff to join our team and support our service users across the region.We provide all new members with our mandatory training programme, and further client-specific training where necessary. We offer our members a variety of work patterns with service users throughout East Lancashire. We can offer flexibility with either full time, part time or bank position's.The Role:Tasks may include:Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and groomingSupport with mobility and transfers to help clients move safely around their homeHelp with meal preparation and light household chores to maintain a clean and comfortable environmentAdminister medication as per care plans and monitor health conditionsProvide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolationMaintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to supervisorsDrive clients to appointments or social activities, ensuring safe transportationFollow care plans meticulously to meet individual needs and preferencesCommunicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated careHoursAM - 0700-1400 - Morning and lunch callsPM - 1500-2200 - Teas and bed'sAll members working homecare will be required to work across all areas below:BlackburnClitheroeRishtonAccringtonBurneyNelsonColneBarnoldswickRequirementsValid driving licenceExperience working in careExcellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team membersCompassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others' well-beingReliable, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a teamAbout us:Prestige Nursing & Care East Lancashire is a family-run business , providing a wide range of health care solutions to individuals within their own homes and care settings.We pride ourselves on our reputation for providing excellent care services and being one of the best care and support agencies in the area .
