Personal Development Tutor | Term Time Only (37 hours) | PermanentAbout the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and student-focused Personal Development Tutor to deliver our Personal Development Tutorial Programme (BPC Grow) , supporting students to succeed academically, personally, and professionally.This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in shaping student wellbeing, engagement, progression, and employability. You will help students develop the skills, behaviours, and resilience needed for adulthood and the world of work.Working collaboratively with curriculum teams, support services, and external partners, you will contribute to a high-quality, inclusive student experience aligned with College priorities and safeguarding expectations.What You'll Be DoingAs a Personal Development Tutor, you will:Build strong, supportive relationships with a cohort of students, acting as a trusted point of contact to aid their transition into college lifeDeliver engaging, interactive BPC Grow tutorial sessions, workshops, and group activities using student-led approachesSupport students' academic progress, wellbeing, confidence, and personal developmentMonitor attendance and engagement, working closely with teaching teams to drive improvementAct as a first point of contact for safeguarding and wellbeing concerns, applying appropriate procedures and signposting to specialist teamsProvide tailored support for vulnerable learners, including acting as a keyworker for Children in Care (CiC) and Care LeaversLiaise with teaching staff, Learning Managers, and external agencies to ensure students receive coordinated supportMaintain accurate student records and contribute to data monitoring and reportingSupport students in planning their progression routes, including employability and careers-focused activitiesPromote positive behaviour, inclusion, and equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in all interactionsContribute to a collaborative and supportive Student Experience team environmentWhat We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is passionate about working with young people and supporting their success.
