Hybrid Management Accountant

As the business expands, they are looking for a proactive, commercially minded and detail-driven Management Accountant to play a key role in shaping the finance function of the future.If youre looking for a role where you can genuinely add value, influence decision-making and progress your career, this is an opportunity youll want to explore.Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be a key contributor to the production of accurate, insightful financial information that drives business performance.Overseeing and review of the production of the monthly management accounts, together with accounts commentary highlighting the main areas of concernSupporting the FC with the daily management of the teamPreparation of monthly payrollDeveloping best practice processes and procedures both in the department and across the wider business where applicableSupporting the FC with cash flow forecasting, departmental budgeting and cost centre analysis to drive efficiencies and improve workflows across the businessSupporting the credit control and purchase ledger functions to ensure timely collection of debts and prioritisation of creditor paymentsPreparation of the Daily Turnover ReportAssisting with year-end auditsSupport general team with all aspects of finance during holiday timesForge excellent and effective working relationships with all departments and colleaguesAs a successful candidate you will have experience within similar role and be part qual., finalist, qualified or QBE, a good working knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero etc) strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload together with a great eye for accuracy.In return the company offers a competitive remunerations package with plenty of ongoing training, genuine scope for fantastic career progression and a dynamic work environment.
