Company profile:We are working with a well-established distributor of packaging consumables that provides a complete packaging solution to each one of its clients.Title: Sales CoordinatorRole and Responsibilities:We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed individual to be an integral part of a sales team providing back-office support (including providing quotes and placing orders) to enable a field sales packaging specialist to spend their time actively selling, as well as account management to generate new sales orders.Keys responsibilities include, but not limited to:Support to allocated Packaging Specialist/s (Field sales)Generate quotesProcess ordersLiaise with Warehouse to check order on course and inform customers of any potential delays/problems escalating to packaging specialist when appropriateDeal with customer enquiriesEscalate issues to packaging specialist as and when requiredAccount Management/SalesProvide account management for allocated customers including:Be main point of call for all enquiriesManage stock levels for call off stockDeal with any queries/complaints escalating when appropriateProactively target new and inactive customers with the aim of gaining sales/regular customActively cross-sell and up-sell products to existing customersGeneral AdminAnswer incoming calls and relocate them to the appropriate person if necessaryRespond to emails that come into general sales email addressFile quotes and ordersQualifications and knowledge:Worked in a similar internal sales roleWorked for Wholesaler/Merchant preferable but not essentialExcellent customer service skillsGood planning and organisation skillsStrong IT skills including using email, word, Business Central (or similar customer order system)Sales skillsSalary & Benefits:£26,765.00, rising to £28,394.8925 days holiday per year plus bank holidaysContributory pension scheme in line with auto-enrolment and medical cash back planTPBN1_UKTJ
