Mechanical Design EngineerPeterboroughCirca £48,000PermanentAre you looking for a new design role to work with a growing company working on a diverse range of hygienic projects from sheet metal to fluid and powder process systems which you are able to grow with future development opportunities?I am exclusively working with an excellent business who work within the sub contract manufacturing industries with clients across the Process Engineering and food industries and who are currently looking for a new person to join their design team.What you will be doing:Producing detailed manufacturing drawings of systems, products and layouts from 3D models (fabrication and assembly drawings including BOMS)Align P&IDs with 2D and 3D drawingsEnsuring all drawing quality and continuity are up to company, customer and industry standardsMaking sure all drawing libraries and parts databases are up to dateWorking closely with the manufacturing department to ensure parts are manufactured to spec, but also work to ensure manufacturing problems are overcomeIssue all drawings and BOMs for manufacture through ERP systemSkills ExperienceIts expected that you will be educated to degree levelExperience as a CAD Draughtsperson / Design Engineer within a fabrication industryKnowledge of food & beverage, pharma, industrial designBe an excellent user of Solidworks/AutoCAD/InventorAn excellent understanding of design for Manufacture DFMBe able to produce under pressureIf this role appeals and would like to know more contact Scott Lydon onINDOTHTPBN1_UKTJ
