This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that genuinely invests in its employees, offers long-term stability and provides opportunities to develop additional skills and welding qualifications.The RoleAs a Production Technician (Welder/Fabricator), you will be responsible for carrying out a mixture of welding, fabrication and production activities to support the manufacture of high-quality engineered products. You will work to strict quality and safety standards while contributing to the ongoing success and continuous improvement of the production operation.Key Responsibilities• Carrying out TIG welding to a high standard• Supporting MIG welding activities where required• Working from engineering drawings, technical specifications and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)• Maintaining and working towards company welding qualifications and coded welding standards• Fabricating, assembling and finishing precision engineered components• Completing grinding, forming and material preparation activities• Supporting additional manufacturing processes as required• Operating overhead cranes and production equipment (training available where required)• Working closely with production, engineering and support teams• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards• Contributing towards continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities across the businessWhat We're Looking ForEssential• Previous TIG welding experience• Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment• Experience with a range of fabrication techniques• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality• Positive attitude and strong work ethic• Flexible approach and willingness to learn new processes and products• Ability to work effectively as part of a teamDesirable• Previous MIG welding experience• Experience working to coded welding standards• Experience working on pressure vessels or similar specialist fabrications• Overhead crane experience• Engineering or welding qualificationsWhat's On Offer• £32,000 - £38,500 per annum DOE• Paid monthly• Twice-yearly company bonus• Private healthcare• 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays• Early finish every Friday• Overtime opportunities• Ongoing training and development• Opportunity to gain and maintain welding certifications• Excellent working environment• Long-term career progression• Permanent employment with a growing businessThis role would suit TIG Welders, MIG Welders, Fabricators, Welder Fabricators, Coded Welders, Manufacturing Technicians, Production Technicians, Sheet Metal Workers and Skilled Engineering Operatives looking to join a successful and growing manufacturer.Apply today for immediate consideration.TPBN1_UKTJ
