Static Mechanical Engineer

Strand, London WC2A ?? £42,000 - £44,000 per annum ? Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 Hours)We are currently seeking an experienced Static Mechanical Engineer (Multiskilled) to join a leading facilities management team at a prestigious site in Central London.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer with strong building services experience to work within a professional maintenance team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a high-profile commercial environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.Diagnose faults and complete repairs to plant and equipment across the site.Maintain HVAC systems, heating, ventilation, gas appliances, steam plant and associated building services equipment.Undertake refurbishment, installation and minor project works.Support statutory testing, inspections and compliance requirements.Carry out PAT testing where required.Assist with contractor management and escort duties.Participate in a 24-hour on-call rota when required.Work independently or as part of a multi-skilled engineering team.Support site audits and ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to.RequirementsNVQ Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.Proven experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management.Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills across mechanical and electrical systems.Experience working on HVAC, plant room equipment, heating and ventilation systems.Good understanding of health and safety regulations and statutory compliance.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.What's on OfferSalary of £42,000 - £44,000 per annum.Monday to Friday working hours no regular shifts.Static site role based in Central London.Ongoing training and career development opportunities.Support towards Authorised Person and Competent Person qualifications.Opportunity to work within a respected and growing facilities management organisation.If you're a qualified Mechanical Engineer looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with excellent career prospects, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today with your updated CV for immediate consideration.TPBN1_UKTJ
