Warehouse Manager

Warehouse Deputy Manager required for a site near Thetford.We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor /Department Manager or Team Leader who is looking for progression in the next step of their career to join a well-established team on a full time, permanent basis.This is an amazing opportunity to work for a national retail organisation at their fast-paced distribution centre.As the Warehouse Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for:Lead and organise a team of up to 50 staff across the whole site, monitoring productivity and other KPIsSupport the General Manager in maximising operational excellence, quality, and efficiency by overseeing of logistics processes and management of workflows.Oversee online picking, pick location storage and replenishment, packing, outbound VAS, and shipping to fulfil store expectationsEnsure inbound of planned qty. and correct storage of productsIdentify risks and issues within the team and support future developmentComplete ongoing stock counts using the cycle count sheetOversee the Unloading and loading of goods from vehicles and check packing listsOversee the warehouse team in the absence of the Deputy warehouse managerSupport the management with creating reportsSupport with facilities management of the warehouseCore skills / experience required for this Warehouse Manager role:Good operational DC inbound and outbound experience to effectively lead operations of a teamGood understanding of warehouse management systemStrong communication and coordination skillsAbility to encourage collaboration and staff development by empowering othersAgile mindset with a positive attitude to change and meaningful growthInclusive & empathetic towards others whilst encouraging diversity2-3 years' FLT driving experience (counterbalance and reach)Strong IT skills, especially ExcelRewards and Benefits for the Warehouse Assistant Manager:Salary inline with experience28 days annual holiday, which increases to 32 days inline with serviceExtra day off for your birthdayGroup pension plan (5% employer 4% employee)20% staff discount across all brands in the groupFriendly and supportive working environmentOpportunities to progress within the groupOnsite parkingWorking hours are flexible between Fri 7:30 18:30 but are based on a 40hr week over 5 daysTPBN1_UKTJ
