Engineering Operations Manager

A forward thinking engineering organisation that is investing heavily in modernising its operations are looking for an Engineering Operations Manager.The role will take ownership of a busy technical facility delivering complex testing programmes and validated results for internal and external projects. If you thrive in structured operations and enjoy the variety of project-based work, this role will suit you perfectly.The RoleLead day-to-day operations across a multi-project engineering/mechanical testing environment, ensuring work is planned, resourced and delivered effectively. Key responsibilities include:Planning and coordinating testing programmes and project deliveryManaging people, equipment, facilities and operational resourcesMaintaining high standards of health, safety and complianceCreating structured plans to meet testing requirements and deadlinesOverseeing capability, capacity, scheduling and future operational needsLeading proposals for how work should be delivered and owning implementationActing as a key holder and supporting site opening/closing responsibilitiesThe RequirementsStrong operational management experience within engineering, production or technical environmentsProven leadership and team-development capabilityExcellent planning, organisation and resource-management skillsIdeally a Mechanical Engineering qualification (C&G, HNC or Degree)Suitable for a Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager with an engineering backgroundWhats in it for youAnnual Bonus, 27 days holiday plus bank holidays and companySite leadership role with autonomy and influenceClear progression as the site scales and growsTPBN1_UKTJ
