Warehouse Supervisor

SourceCo are looking for an experienced chilled warehouse supervisor for a well-established food manufacturing business based in Tewkesbury.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with warehouse leadership experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.PLEASE NOT THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE SOME WEEKEND WORKThe Role:As Chilled Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the chilled warehouse and yard, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality service.Salary:£40,900 per annum (45 hours per week)Key Responsibilities:Supervise, motivate, train, and support warehouse and yard staffEnsure safe working practices and company procedures are followedMonitor chilled warehouse conditions and ensure products are stored correctlyWork closely with production, maintenance, quality, and management teams to resolve issuesMaintain accurate warehouse paperwork and recordsComplete daily stock checks and ensure correct stock rotationEnsure customer orders are accurate and dispatched to a high standardMaintain a clean, safe working environmentCheck vehicle refrigeration systems are operating correctlySupport loading and unloading operations to maintain efficient turnaround timesProvide cover during holidays, sickness, and busy periodsDeputise for the Warehouse Manager when requiredAbout You:Previous experience supervising or leading a warehouse teamStrong communication and people management skillsAbility to motivate and support team membersExcellent attention to detail and accuracyOrganised with the ability to work to deadlinesComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentFlexible approach to working hours and shift patternsDesirable:Forklift Truck (FLT) licence and experience (training available for the right candidate)Experience within chilled, food, FMCG, or temperature-controlled environmentsIf you are looking for your next warehouse leadership opportunity, apply today or contact us for more information.TPBN1_UKTJ
