Site Manager Civil Engineering & InfrastructureLocation: Greater ManchesterSector: Civils / Highways / Utilities / PowerSalary: £60,000 + Car Allowance & Excellent BenefitsEmployment Type: Full-Time | PermanentThe CompanyA Lancashire-based civil engineering contractor is seeking to appoint an experienced Site Manager / Civils Site Manager to support the successful delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Manchester, Greater Manchester and Lancashire .Whats on OfferSalary up to £60,000 + Car allowance + Excellent benefitsWorking 07:30 16:30 & Early finish FridaysFull-time, permanent role with long-term progression opportunitiesProjects based in the Greater Manchester and Lancashire areaJoin a supportive, growing team delivering meaningful infrastructure workThe RoleThis Site Manager position is well suited to an accomplished civil engineering professional with the capability to take ownership of site operations, lead project teams, and ensure civils and infrastructure works are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget .The successful candidate will coordinate works from initial mobilisation through to completion , working closely with the Contracts and Commercial teams to ensure day-to-day site operations are managed safely, efficiently , and to the required quality standards.Lead and oversee all on-site operations to meet project deadlines and budgetsSupervise teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality and efficiencySupport planning activities and contribute to programme updates and reportingMaintain site records, order plant/materials, and manage logisticsPromote and maintain a strong site safety culture, including risk assessments and incident reviewsEnsure regulatory and procedural compliance across all operationsSupport commercial goals by tracking productivity, identifying risks, and driving cost-effective solutionsWhat Were Looking ForNVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or Construction ManagementBackground in any of the following: highways, utilities, piling, groundworks, stonework restoration, or wastewater projectsProven experience managing infrastructure or civil-based projectsStrong understanding of site safety, quality control, and programme managementA confident communicator, capable of leading teams and liaising with clients and stakeholdersSelf-motivated with a hands-on, solutions-focused approachHow to ApplyFor more information call Carl Bennion at 07359134507 for a confidential chat between the hours of 7.00 AM 7.00 PM or just click 'Apply Now' and send your CV.
