Immediate Temporary Contract OpportunityJob Title: Materials Planner Scheduler - ContractJob Location: Wrexham AreaClient: Global FMCG ManufacturingJob Type: Temporary Contract, ongoingJob Reward: £40-45k prorataI'm currently supporting a well-established FMCG manufacturing site in the Wrexham area with an urgent requirement for a Materials Planner on a 3-month ongoing contract.This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced, high-performing factory environment, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring production runs smoothly through effective materials planning, scheduling, and supply chain coordination.Key Responsibilities - Materials Planner Scheduler Manage raw material and packaging availability to meet production plansDrive MRP activity, supplier scheduling, and purchase order management (SAP)Plan and coordinate high SKU variability materials across production schedulesOwn inventory levels, stock accuracy, and material flow optimisationCollaborate cross-functionally with production, procurement, and logistics teamsPro actively mitigate risk, avoid downtime, and improve supply performanceWhat We're Looking For - Materials Planner SchedulerExperience as a Materials Planner, Supply Chain Planner, or Production PlannerBackground in FMCG, food & drink, or fast-paced manufacturing oenvironmentsr packagingStrong capability in raw materials planning with high SKU complexity/variabilityHands-on experience with MRP systems (SAP preferred) and supplier managementConfident in short-term scheduling and production material alignmentAble to hit the ground running and deliver immediate impactWhats on Offer?
