Were seeking a Senior Property & Casualty Underwriter to drive new business growth across Mid-Market and Mid-Corporate risks.Youll play a key role in shaping the branchs successbuilding broker relationships, leading large-case management, and underwriting profitable new business while supporting and influencing the wider underwriting team.Key Responsibilities Represent the business on larger, complex Mid-Market and Mid-Corporate risks. Negotiate coverage, wordings and pricing alongside Trading Underwriters. Build and manage a strong pipeline of quality new business opportunities. Lead the large-case process and act as a referral point for the team. Develop strong broker relationships and deliver a clear distribution strategy.What Youll Bring Strong commercial underwriting expertise. Knowledge of the Manchester insurance market. Confident decision-making across varied technical scenarios. Coaching, development and team-influencing experience. Excellent trading, negotiation and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical and risk-assessment capability.Working Pattern Hybrid working with around three days per week in the Manchester office, plus broker visits and industry events.Interested?
