Warehouse Driver / Forklift OperatorLocation: Brize NortonContract: 4-Month ContractPay Rate: £16.45 per hour PAYE or £22.00 per hour UmbrellaShift Pattern: 5 days on, 4 days off | 12-hour rotating days and nights (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am) | Average 40.5 hours per weekSecurity Clearance: BPSS+ Clearance required (completed by Airbus Security)Join a Team That Keeps Operations MovingWe're looking for a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Driver / Forklift Operator to join a busy operational team supporting critical logistics activities within a highly regulated aviation environment.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in driving, transportation, warehouse operations, or logistics who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where quality, safety, and teamwork are paramount.You'll play a vital role in ensuring materials and goods are transported, handled, and stored efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and operational excellence.What You'll Be DoingAs a Warehouse Driver / Forklift Operator, you'll be responsible for:Safely operating company vehicles, including vans and forklift trucksTransporting materials and equipment both on-site and to designated off-site locationsLoading, unloading, handling, and moving goods in line with operational and compliance requirementsConducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance issues promptlySupporting warehouse activities including packing, documentation checks, and stock handlingMaintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environmentAdhering to all company quality, safety, and security proceduresSupporting managers and team leaders with additional operational tasks when requiredIdentifying and reporting process issues or opportunities for improvementWorking collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational objectivesMaintaining vigilance around Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention and workplace safetyWhat We're Looking ForWe're keen to hear from candidates who have:Essential Skills & ExperienceA valid UK driving licence with a clean driving recordProven experience within driving, transport, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environmentsExperience operating vehicles and material handling equipmentStrong awareness of workplace health, safety, and compliance requirementsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalA proactive, dependable, and professional approach to workStrong attention to detail and accuracyThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamGood organisational and problem-solving skillsThe flexibility to work rotating shift patterns, including nightsDesirable ExperienceForklift certification (or the willingness and ability to obtain certification)Experience within aviation, defence, regulated logistics, or highly controlled environmentsExperience supporting secure operations or escort dutiesKnowledge of Part 145 or similar regulated maintenance environmentsWhat's in It for You?Competitive hourly pay ratesShift uplift availableOpportunity to gain experience within a highly respected aerospace and aviation environmentExposure to complex logistics and operational processesCollaborative team culture with experienced colleaguesA chance to develop valuable skills in warehouse operations, transportation, compliance, and logisticsOur Commitment to InclusionWe are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.
