Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor (MEP) required to work for Principal Contractor on High Speed Rail Major Works Programme.Contract - Inside IR359 Months Initially ongoing contract basisBased at North Acton - 4 Days per week in the office, 1 day WFHNEC Contracts experience and major infrastructure projects essential.Good Subcontract Management and reporting experience on major projects.Senior Quantity Surveyor ideally with MEP experience preferred but not essential.-Ability to Commercially manage key MEP packages for varying subcontract forms.-Ability to neutralise or manage disputes to effective conclusion.-Ability to lead Commercial team management, ensuring reporting staff are suitability trained.-Lead supplier management and engagement.-Lead budget preparations and the associated analysis.-Responsible for valuation of work done & other performance management metrics.-Management of liabilities.-Manage effective close out of change, including leading to completion complex change.-Can establish MEP opportunities and efficiencies, through to completion.-Has excellent communication and team skills-Can work alongside MEPH package manager and other team members-Assist where necessary in Subcontract Procurement.-Provides both Internal and External reporting for incorporation into the main report.-Reports to the Commercial lead and adheres to Project strategies.-Has excellent time management skills, managing both there's and other time in order to reach completion of workTPBN1_UKTJ
