We support our members to start,runand grow their businesses through expert advice,market-leadingbenefits, local support, and influential campaigning on the issues that matter most.Were now looking for a Policy Advisor to join our Northern Ireland team.About the RoleWere looking for a highly organised and proactive Events Co-ordinator to join our team.In this role, youll play a key part in the planning, coordination and delivery of high-quality events across the UK ranging from conferences and roadshows to virtual events and exhibitions.Working closely with colleagues, partners, and suppliers, youll help ensure every event runs smoothly and delivers an excellent experience for all attendees.The RoleAs Events Co-ordinator, you will:Support the planning and delivery of a wide range of events, including in-person and virtual formatsCoordinate event logistics with internal teams, venues, speakers, suppliers and delegatesManage event registrations and maintain CRM/event systemsPrepare communications, joining instructions and event materialsOrganise travel, catering, AV and event resourcesProvide on-the-day support, including registration and troubleshootingHost and support online events where requiredWork with marketing teams on event promotion and contentCollect feedback and support post-event analysisAssist with budgets, invoicing and reportingDeliver excellent customer service, handling enquiries and resolving issuesEssential Skills & ExperienceExperience supporting or delivering events (planning, administration and execution)Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience working with stakeholders such as venues, speakers and partnersProficiency with Microsoft Office and event/CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce)Confidence using virtual event platformsAbility to handle customer queries and resolve issues effectivelyDesirableExperience in a customer-facing or events roleKnowledge of event promotion toolsUnderstanding of GDPR and data handlingEvents, marketing or customer service qualificationAbout YouYoull be:A confident communicator with a professional and friendly approachHighly organised with great attention to detailComfortable working independently and using your initiativeA strong relationship builderConfident hosting events and engaging with audiencesAdditional RequirementsFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicleWillingness to travel across the UK for eventsFlexibility with working hours to support event deliveryAbility to work from home in a suitable environmentThis a remote role but there is a requirement for you to be based in the Manchester or Leeds region.Why Join FSB?At FSB, youll be part of an organisation that makes a tangible difference to small businesses.
