Are you an experienced Training Coordinator, Learning & Development Coordinator, Skills Trainer or Training Officer with a background in manufacturing?Do you enjoy developing people, improving skills and creating structured training programmes that make a real difference to operational performance?We're supporting Porvair in Fareham who are looking to recruit a Training Coordinator to support the development, delivery and continuous improvement of training across their manufacturing operations.Whats the role all about?Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Training Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring employees are trained, competent and confident in their roles.Working closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, HSE and HR teams, you'll coordinate training activities across the site, support onboarding, develop training programmes and help create a culture of continuous learning and development.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to have a direct impact on operational capability, employee development and business performance.Key responsibilitiesTraining Coordination & DeliveryCoordinate production training across manufacturing operationsSupport onboarding, cross-training and skills development programmesWork with Production Managers, Team Leaders and Subject Matter Experts to identify training needsPlan and schedule training activities to minimise disruption to productionEnsure new starters and employees moving roles receive appropriate training and supportMaintain training records, competence sign-offs and skills matricesTraining Programme DevelopmentDevelop and standardise training materials and assessment documentationReview and improve existing training programmes and delivery methodsEnsure training requirements are identified and implemented ahead of process changesAnalyse training data and feedback to identify improvement opportunitiesSupport competence management and workforce development initiativesTrain the Trainer ProgrammeDevelop and deliver internal Train the Trainer programmesCoach and support internal trainers and team leadersPromote consistent and effective training delivery methodsMonitor trainer effectiveness and provide coaching and feedbackBusiness & HR SupportSupport wider organisational learning and development initiativesAssist HR with training needs analysis and development programmesSupport company values, employee engagement and capability developmentProvide training reports and updates to management teamsWhat you'll needTo succeed in this role, you'll bring:Experience coordinating, delivering or supporting training within a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of training records, competence assessments and skills matricesExperience creating and maintaining training documentationExcellent communication and coaching skillsStrong organisational and planning abilitiesGood Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to engage and influence people at all levels of the businessDesirableTrain the Trainer qualificationCIPD, Learning & Development or Coaching qualificationExperience implementing training frameworks or competence programmesExperience within AS9100, ISO9001 or other regulated manufacturing environmentsFirst Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Marshal or workplace trainer certificationsAbout youYou're passionate about developing people and creating effective learning environments.You'll be:Highly organised and proactiveA confident communicator and facilitatorComfortable coaching and supporting othersDetail-oriented and process-drivenPositive, engaging and collaborativeCommitted to continuous improvement and personal developmentWhy join?This is an opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business where you'll have a genuine impact on workforce capability, employee development and operational success.You'll work across multiple departments, helping to build a culture of learning, engagement and continuous improvement.Interested?If you're an experienced Training Coordinator, Learning & Development Coordinator or Manufacturing Trainer looking for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today or contact us for a confidential discussion.Kingdom People are acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.TPBN1_UKTJ
