They are specialists in creating bespoke products using open die methods.The RoleThey are currently recruiting for a Heat Treatment Operative to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the heat treatment facility, ensuring products are processed safely, accurately, and to the required quality standards.This role operates on a 3-shift pattern covering mornings, afternoons, and nights, with flexibility to support overtime essential.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide an efficient heat treatment facility to the CompanyPreparation of Heat Treatment charges, by means of manual handling, FLT and manipulator etcLoading and unloading of furnacesSetting and monitoring of furnace control instrumentationInspection, identification, and distribution of completed workMaintaining a high standard of housekeeping within the departmentLiaise with other departments to ensure work is completed in a timely mannerLiaison with the Witness InspectorsRequirementsEssentialExperience of working within a similar environmentAbility to understand at times complex informationCurrent Forklift Truck LicenceExperience of operating heavy machineryPractical knowledge and skills in manual handling techniquesRequired to maintain legible handwritten recordsEffective communication skills with all levels of personnel, both written and verbalGood organisational skills with the ability to prioritise accordinglyAble to work as part of a team but also on own initiativeKeen eye for detail and quality focusedPro-active and forward thinkingGood PC skills with an ability to learn new systemsWhat's In It For YouCompetitive hourly rates and paid breaks33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.
