With a strong reputation for quality and delivery, Aran is focused on raising standards across installation projects while improving the comfort, cost of living and sustainability of UK homes.What will you be doing?As a Field Technical Coordinator , youll play a key role in ensuring health and safety standards are consistently delivered across our retrofit installation sites.This is a field-based role , where youll work closely with operational teams, supervisors and subcontractors-supporting safe working practices and promoting a strong safety-first culture across all projects.As a Field Technical Coordinator, youll play a vital role in ensuring health and safety standards are consistently delivered across our retrofit installation projects.Working mainly on-site, youll partner closely with operational teams, supervisors and subcontractors to embed a strong, proactive safety culture and ensure safe working practices are followed at all times.This is a hands-on, people-focused role where youll balance compliance, coaching and continuous improvement to help teams deliver safely and effectively.Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out site inspections, safety observations and compliance checks across projectsMonitoring working practices to ensure alignment with RAMS, company procedures and legal requirementsIdentifying risks, unsafe behaviours or conditions and supporting corrective actionsDelivering toolbox talks, training sessions and safety briefings to site teams and subcontractorsReviewing site documentation (risk assessments, method statements, COSHH, PPE compliance)Maintaining clear records of inspections, observations and actions takenSupporting investigations into incidents, near misses and root cause analysisIdentifying trends, risks and opportunities to improve safety performanceWorking alongside Contracts Managers, Supervisors and leadership teams to drive continuous improvementYoull be instrumental in creating a culture where everyone takes responsibility for safetyhelping ensure we deliver work thats right first time, every time.What youll bringWere looking for someone whos confident in the field, passionate about safety, and able to positively influence teams on-site.Youll bring: Experience working in construction, retrofit or field-based operational environmentsA strong understanding of construction health and safety practicesExperience carrying out site inspections and safety observationsThe ability to engage and build relationships with site teams, installers and subcontractorsStrong communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approachA proactive mindset, with the confidence to challenge and improve ways of workingEssential qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)CSCS card (or equivalent)Full UK driving licenceDesirable qualifications but not deal breakers: IOSH Managing Safely or Working SafelySSSTS qualificationExperience delivering toolbox talksKnowledge of retrofit installation activities such as insulation, ventilation or renewable technologiesWhats in it for you?We offer a range of benefits designed to support your life in and out of work, some of which include; Contributory pension schemeOnline GP service, 24 hours a day, 365 days a yearEmployee assistance programmeMy Rewards portal, access to 1000s of retail discountsLife assuranceCycle to work, salary finance and give as you earn schemesEnhanced maternity, paternity leave and adoption leaveReward and recognition schemeIn addition, this role offers; Company events, including an annual Christmas partyChristmas shutdown periodCasual dressFree parking and on-site parkingReferral programmeBereavement leaveAnd yes Free Sandwich FridayAbout usWe want to be an employer of choice and a great place to work, attracting diverse and talented people, who join us and make a difference.
