Electrical Engineer Blyth, NorthumberlandPark Recruit are partnering with a leading European data centre contractor to recruit an Electrical Engineer for a major data centre project based in Blyth .This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer looking to develop their career on large-scale, technically complex projects. Working alongside an experienced project team, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of electrical installations from construction through to commissioning.The Role You'll support the coordination and delivery of all electrical works on site, ensuring installations are completed safely, on programme and in line with project specifications and quality standards.Key Responsibilities Support the delivery of electrical works throughout the project lifecycle.Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.Assist with QA/QC processes to ensure installations meet project requirements.Coordinate daily site activities with subcontractors, supervisors and the wider project team.Monitor project progress and provide updates to senior engineers and management.Maintain technical documentation, RFIs and safety records.Attend site, engineering and planning meetings.Liaise with design teams to obtain and coordinate construction information.Carry out installation inspections and quality checks on electrical systems.Support commercial activities by assisting with variations and project progress.Help identify and resolve technical and coordination issues.Assist with snagging and project close-out activities.About You Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum 3 years' experience within electrical construction.Experience working on electrical installations including power distribution, lighting and associated building services.Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications and site processes.Strong technical knowledge of electrical installation methods.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team.Previous experience within data centres, industrial or other mission-critical environments would be advantageous.What's on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work on one of the UK's largest data centre developments.Excellent career progression with a leading international contractor.Exposure to technically challenging, high-value projects.Supportive team environment with ongoing training and development.Long-term opportunities within the rapidly growing data centre sector.TPBN1_UKTJ
