Multi Trade Operative – Plastering biasGuilford & Surrounding areas£40,600 + Company Van & Fuel CardOur client, a leading contractor within the social housing sector, is currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join their growing repairs and maintenance team.This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson with a broad maintenance background who can deliver high-quality repairs and excellent customer service within occupied and void social housing properties.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out responsive repairs and planned maintenance worksCompleting a wide range of multi-trade repairs including:Strong plastering Knmowledge & skillsCarpentry (doors, locks, skirting, basic repairs)Plumbing (minor repairs such as taps, leaks, and sanitary ware)Tiling repairs and replacementsPainting and decorating touch-upsGeneral property maintenanceDiagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently to a high standardEnsuring all works are completed within agreed service level agreementsDelivering excellent customer service while working in tenants' homesAccurately completing job sheets and updating works via PDA/tablet systemsFollowing all health and safety proceduresRequirementsStrong plastering skills ideally have NVQ level 2Strong all-round trade knowledge across Plastering, carpentry, plumbing, and general building worksExperience working within occupied propertiesAbility to work independently and manage workloads effectivelyExcellent problem-solving and customer service skillsFull UK driving licenceOwn tools (preferred unless otherwise supplied)DesirableExperience using PDA systems for job managementWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary of £40,600Company van and fuel cardOpportunity for permanent employmentSupportive team environment and long-term career progressionIf you are an experienced Multi Trade Operative looking for your next opportunity within the social housing sector, we would love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
