This role involves multi-drop store deliveries across Devon, Somerset and Dorset, delivering chilled, frozen and ambient goods.Duties Include:Multi-drop store deliveries using cagesDelivering chilled, frozen and ambient productsRoutes covering Devon, Somerset and DorsetCompleting between 4 and 9 drops per dayConducting vehicle checks and completing paperworkMaintaining excellent customer service at delivery locationsShift Information:Start times between 04:45 and 06:00Average shift length of 10-12 hoursUnpaid 45-minute break on shifts over 8 hoursTraining & InductionSuccessful candidates will complete a comprehensive 3-week induction programme:Week 1Driving assessmentClassroom-based trainingCompletion of paperwork and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW)Weeks 2 & 3Buddying alongside an experienced core driverLearning routes, procedures and customer requirementsOur Perfect WorkerValid Class 2 (Category C) licenceMinimum 3 months' commercial driving experiencePrevious store delivery experience preferredValid CPC and Digital Tachograph CardNo more than 6 penalty pointsNo major endorsements, including:DD (Drink Driving)CD (Careless Driving)Driving without due care and attentionOther serious motoring offencesKey Information and Benefits8 hours guaranteed per shift33 days holiday entitlementWeekly PayJob Ref - D1DHLCOAbout StafflineStaffline is the UK's largest recruitment solutions partner, enabling over 35,000 people into good work every week.
