Job Title: Reach Truck Driver / Warehouse OperativeLocation: Swindon, SN3Pay Rate: £14.23 - £14.58 + OvertimeShifts: Monday to Thursday: 14:00 to 22:30 with Friday: 14:00 to 20:00Contract: Temporary ongoingGap personnel are proud to be working together with the largest global manufacturer of Lead-Acid and Lithium-ion batteries based in Swindon, who are currently looking for Reach Forklift Operative to support their busy distribution centre.Job Duties:Operating in narrow aisles for storing and retrieving pallets in rackingLoading and unloading heavy materialsHigh picksAbility to work accurately and safely.Ability to work to tight deadlinesAbility to spot quality issues and able to confidently report issues to a Team Lead/SupervisorStock replenishment in high locations in rackingStock put away to high locations in rackingIdeal candidate will have:Proven experience in operating Reach truck in the pastIn date Reach FLT licenceEnthusiastic work ethic with a willingness to improve and make a difference.Ability to problem solve and think outside the box.Ability to go the extra mile and be flexible with working hours when needed.Ability to follow & fully understand instructions and be able to clearly explain requirements to others.Good team skills to be able to work with others and lead from the front.Good verbal & written communication skillsGood attention to detail.Due to nature of the business, Health and Safety induction and walkaround will be held on site. Prior to any interview and walkaround, maths test to be completed by the candidate on site in presence of and agency representative.
