Human Resources AdvisorCaerphilly – With TravelPermanent | Monday to Friday | Full-time The HR Advisor will act as a trusted partner to business leaders, delivering expert, commercially focused HR guidance across a broad range of people matters. This role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented individual who can influence decision-making, drive consistency, and ensure the effective management of employee relations, performance, and organisational change. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the post holder will lead on complex HR casework, coach and challenge managers, and use data-driven insights to improve organisational performance and mitigate risk. The role demands strong employment law knowledge, sound judgement, and the ability to balance commercial priorities with people outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations & Wellbeing\n

- Lead complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence matters. \n
- Support managers with absence management, wellbeing initiatives, occupational health referrals, and reasonable adjustments. \n
- Provide expert, compliant HR advice and coaching to ensure consistent people management practices. \n
- \n
- Partner with managers to address performance and capability issues, driving timely interventions and a high-performance culture. \n
- Oversee probationary reviews, supporting decision-making and identifying development needs with L&D. \n
- \n
- Support onboarding, inductions, probation management, and exit processes to deliver a positive employee experience. \n
- Conduct exit interviews, analyse feedback, and escalate significant issues where appropriate. \n
- Monitor new starter access, equipment, and onboarding effectiveness. \n
- \n
- Analyse HR data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights. \n
- Produce reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and supporting informed decision-making. \n
- Conduct audits and maintain strong governance across HR processes and systems. \n
- \n
- Ensure delivery of high-quality HR services in line with policies and SLAs. \n
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and frameworks. \n
- Act as a role model, fostering professionalism, accountability, and best practice across the business. \n
- \n
- HR degree or relevant qualification \n
- HR experience within a fast-paced, multi-site sales or service organisation \n
- Knowledge of UK employment law \n
- Ability to deliver commercially focused HR solutions that drive engagement and performance \n
- Experience supporting performance management and organisational change initiatives \n
- \n
- Commercially aware, hands-on approach with strong operational focus \n
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills \n
- Strong team player with a results-driven mindset \n
- High levels of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail \n
