Logistics Operator | Chemical Trading Logistics OperatorPay: £35,000.00-£43,000.00 per yearLogistics Operator Job Description:Logistics Operator Loughton, Essex £35,000 - £43,000 depending on experienceHybrid working after probation, 3 days in office, 2 from homeWe are supporting a well established chemical distribution business in Loughton as they look to hire a Logistics Operator to join their operations team.*** Please note, previous exposure to ISO tank operations / coordination is essential for this role. Candidates without ISO tank experience are unlikely to be considered. ***This is a hands on role involving the coordination of orders, shipments and day to day logistics activity, working closely with suppliers, customers, freight providers and internal teams.Logistics Operator Key responsibilities:Coordinate orders and shipments from booking through to deliveryManage road, sea and air freight movementsLiaise with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders and transport providersCoordinate ISO tank movements and related logistics activityManage shipment updates, delivery schedules and import / export documentationSupport day to day logistics and operational problem solvingEnsure accurate use of internal systems and recordsBackground sought:Previous experience in logistics, shipping, trade operations or supply chainExposure to ISO tanks is essentialExperience working with chemicals, petrochemicals, fuels, oil & gas, bulk liquids or similar sectors is strongly preferredUnderstanding of multimodal freight including road, sea and air shipmentsStrong organisational and communication skillsComfortable working in a fast paced environmentIf you would like to hear more for the Logistics Operator role, please apply or get in touch.Work Location: Hybrid remote in Loughton (Essex, East of England Region)TPBN1_UKTJ
