If you take pride in clean, professional decorating work and enjoy improving homes for local residents, this could be a great fit.About the RoleYoull carry out internal and external decorating across our housing stock. This includes surface preparation, painting, minor repairs and using access equipment when needed.Youll work independently across our patch, travelling to different homes and sites. Youll also work closely with the Planned Works Manager and other property colleagues to make sure each job is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.This role is available due to an internal promotion within the team.Key Responsibilities:Completing internal and external decorating to a professional finishPreparing walls, ceilings and surfaces before paintingCarrying out minor repairs as part of the jobUsing ladders, towers and other access equipment safelyManaging stock and materials in your vanWorking professionally with residents, colleagues and contractorsKeeping accurate records and following health & safety proceduresWhat Were Looking ForMust haves:A recognised painting and decorating qualification or at least 5 years experienceStrong customer focus and good time-managementAble to work independently and as part of a teamGood understanding of health & safetyPhysically fit and comfortable working at heightFull, valid manual UK driving licenceNice to haves:Experience working in housing or property servicesExperience using towers, scaffolding or other access equipmentFor added brilliance:Pride in delivering high-quality workmanshipA positive, proactive attitudeCommitment to great customer serviceBenefitsAt SettleParadigm, we believe in creating an environment where our people feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
