Job Title: CNC Setter Operator- MillingIndustry : AerospaceLocation: DerbyEmployment: PermanentSalary: £47,200 per annum (inclusive of 40% shift)Shift: Weekend (Days)Pattern: Friday - Sunday / 6am - 6pmThe Role - CNC Setter OperatorJoin our leading aerospace engineering client's team in Derby and contribute to cutting-edge precision machined component development.As a CNC Machinist (Milling), you'll play a key role in machining complex components for advanced aircraft systems, working in a collaborative and innovative environment.Due to Security restrictions, all candidates must currently hold British citizenship.Duties - CNC Setter OperatorProduce accurate, high-quality components with maximum efficiencyCompetently set and operate CNC machinesWork to tight tolerances and check your own work meets the required standardTo work on your own initiative and understand all aspects of the manufacturing processQuality check all finished jobsClean and maintain CNC machine and all associated equipment and machine area.Background - CNC Setter OperatorEngineering apprenticeship OR significant experienceAble to Set and Operate Milling machines.Experience of milling machines - 3 or 5 AxisAble to interpret engineering drawingsAble to self-inspect work using various inspection techniquesBenefits - CNC Setter Operator25 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays.
